Damian is well educated and
practised in providing medical care in hostile and unwelcome environments during his time as a Paramedic in the NHS. Specialist training in helicopter operations, swift water rescue, rope rescue and even responding to chemical and biological weapon attacks are but a few of the areas he has been trained to work in. From the equator to the poles, valley bottoms to mountain tops, Damians skill set is there to be utilised.
In addition to providing expedition medical care Damian can also consult with clients with regard to logistics, risk assessments, safety management plans, and the formulation of Standard Operational Procedures, as well as providing technical advice to adventurers and expeditioners.
His previous clients have included Rannoch Adventure for Ross Edgleys World Record Loch Ness swim and Row Aurora for Dawn Smith MBEs rowing expeditions. He has arranged the movement of a 7m rowing boat from its home in Essex to the world’s most northerly settlement, dealt with foriegn governments to ensure unhindered movement of firearms, and negotiated the movement of dogs within passenger aircraft, he’s said before, ‘Nothing is impossible, it just might be really hard to realise’, and will find a way to make things happen, somehow.
